The property itself and the features are just perfect. The wow factor really comes from the surroundings; if you are a nature lover then this is the place for you. A hidden little gem looking out over the rice fields, palm trees in every direction, endless species of birds and of course lots of other cool animals to watch out for like monkeys and frogs. Then to top it all off, the family here are just wonderful; so welcoming and hospitable... I even had days out with them! This is a little further away from some of the hot spots, however, I have honestly opted to spend whole days just relaxing here as it's such a beautiful little sanctuary that you just want to make the most of 🥰 It is also easy enough to get to places when you do need to. Hathawariya Green View Cabin made the perfect first stay for my trip as a solo female traveller.

Very nice, communicative, and helpful owner. We were very warm welcomed by him and his wife. She can make a tasty dinner which we tried. Location close to the beach where you can find turtles.. Room and bathroom were clean 👌 nice garden and a rest area near the room.

The structure is perfect! Once you enter you will never want to leave! The owner is the kindest and most altruistic person you will meet during your trip. All the staff are super helpful (they picked us up at the station and picked us to the main road several times) The services are always clean, the kitchen is very spacious and well served, the owner has also provided tea and several infusions for every need, all of high quality. Relaxing outside will be a must! More than in a hostel I felt like I was staying in a 5-star hotel !! 😍 The owner also made us do meditation and for my birthday they also organized a wonderful surprise, I couldn’t ask for anything better, we felt like family, we can’t wait to come back!

The owner is very hospitable and attentive. We had some issues with the AC in our room, she came herself to check and also ordered service to fix it right away. The stay was made more enjoyable by the impeccable service of the staff. Cant recommend this place enough! It was the most comfortable stay we had in Galle.

We planned to stay for a couple of nights, but we liked it so much that we stayed for almost two weeks. We felt at home. It felt like a five-star hotel. The staff were fantastic people, just like family. It was hard for us to leave this place and these people, we definitely want to come back to this place. Just few minutes walk from the street noises of the city you get to a "haven of peace". I hope we will come back...

Absolutely amazing accommodation. If I could, I would give 100 points. Only 1.5 km from the walls, you can get there in a few minutes with a cheap tuktuk or by local bus and walk 200m. The host is an incredibly nice person, with excellent English, we had a very nice conversation. The accommodation is the best I have experienced in 2 weeks in Sri Lanka. If you want to have a feeling of the European standard for a while, I highly recommend it. The apartment has everything you can think of to feel comfortable. Mosquito repellent, quiet air conditioning, fully equipped kitchen, hangers, adapter, beautiful palm garden... No insects at all, total cleanness. Absolutely quiet place, peace and comfort. Thank you for a perfect rest before long journey back to Europe.

    The location is perfect, in the jungles and 3 mins walking to the beach. The villa is good, clean what is rarely happens at Sri Lanka. The house has 2 bedrooms, kitchen and living room. Each bedroom has a patio. The house is separated from the owner's house and has its private yard and territory. The kitchen has everything you need, stove, fridge, all the equipment, microwave and even washing machine. There is a hot water in the shower.
