Even though hotel is located by the Ella-Wellawaya road, the location is very calm. Construction wasn't done in some parts of the facility. But the available rooms were at good standard. Good value to your money.

I rented the entire villa, a charming place surrounded by nature, a true oasis of peace where serenity filled the air. It was the perfect break before continuing my journey to Ella. The service was excellent. The villa had everything we needed.. The view from swimming pool is beautiful. We arrived in the evening, the host of the villa were great they offered such good service, we had delicious food. Highly recommend this villa.

We had a wonderful stay at this villa. The property was clean, spacious, and beautifully maintained. The rooms were very comfortable, with all the amenities we needed for a relaxing holiday. The pool was a highlight, perfect for unwinding. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, always available to assist with anything we needed, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Location was peaceful, giving us both privacy and easy access to nearby attractions. The view from the terrace is absolutely stunning! In the night you can also see many bright stars. Comfortable and large bed, enough space for the suitcases and a very decent bathroom. The owners are very friendly, let us choose which breakfast we wanted, arranged tuk tuks and a laundry service for us. We felt very comfortable and welcomed.

The owner, Asanka, met us on the road and took us to the hotel. At that moment, there was a power cut in the area and Asanka did everything to make our evening wonderful - he lit candles so that there was light, prepared tea for us and treated us to a pie. He really wanted us to be comfortable, it's very nice! Soon the electricity returned. the rooms were clean, nice neat bed, clean bathroom, shower with hot water! Each room had bottled drinking water. In the morning you can see an amazing view from the balcony - you can see the mountains, the waterfall, on the other hand you can look at the train (they don't run at night, so we slept great). There were no mosquitoes and flies! We also had a wonderful breakfast in the morning! There was tea, milk, scrambled eggs, toast with butter and jam, and a wide variety of fruits. Great place to stay with lovely hosts, the breakfast and dinner are the best and you can ask them anything anytime. Location is perfect, green everywhere, birds sounds, view on the milky way at night and you can see the train drive by during the day. Wish we stayed longer!

Glorious Nature Inn was the single best place I've stayed in my tour across India and Sri Lanka, they were faultless. I paid something like £19 for one night in their Mountain View double room, and I would happily admit that this room could comfortably charge triple that price for the offering. The location is fantastic. It's on a quiet road that's a 20 minute walk into Ella or a £1.50 Tuktuk (which the hotel can arrange for you), so it's close enough to the great restaurants/nightlife but not too close that it's affected by the noise. But the best part about the location is the view, HOLY CRAP the view completely blew me away! I had a private balcony which was covered so when the lightning storm started I was able to sit out there completely dry with a beer and just soak up the atmosphere, watching the sky light up above the mountains. Then the next morning they served me a traditional Sri Lankan breakfast on my balcony and arranged a tuktuk to take me to some of the local tourist sites (9 arches/tea plantations etc). The room itself was brilliant, it was spotless and had everything you'd need and the en suite/wetroom was awesome as well. It had strong wifi and the bed was so comfortable it was hard to pull myself from. I'm sure you can tell from this review already but this stay was incredible, when I come back I'll be staying for longer that's for sure! Thank you Glorious Nature Inn!
