Charming. Very nice host. Muffins are truly amazing! Standard motel...a bit dated yet still has a stepped up feel. Nice linens, very comfortable bed. Kichen is small but well equipped for a short stay. Room was super clean.

Very cosy cabin with everything you need inside. Couldn't wish for a better place to stay at in the Catlins. It can get a bit cold in the night but a small heater is provided and also heating blankets which are awesome!

Very good communication between the hosts and ourselves. Lovely quiet location and close to some fantastic walks. The kitchen had everything including a bottle of wine chilling in the fridge . Very clean. Beds comfortable . Lovely get away for our wedding anniversary

The house is very cosy and confortable. Perfectly located on the top of a hill overseeing the estuary waters. It's spacious and well equipped so families will enjoy it very much. It's also a short car ride from surat bay beach or nugget point so ideal if you want to explore the area. The staff was also very friendly and proactive on making sure we had a good time. We definitely recommend this house for families or couples wanting a nice retreat in Catlins.
