My warmest recommendations of this place. Incredibly friendly staff. Large clean and tastefully decorated rooms. Super comfortable beds and fully equipped kitchen. The motel is well located in relation to the center with restaurants etc. we stay here for 4 nights.

The apartment was on the second floor and we had a fantastic view of the lake. The furnishings were in very good condition and the kitchen was equipped with the essentials. Everything was very clean, the beds were excellent and it was quiet at night. The only time it was a bit noisy (this happened rarely and then not for long) was when the Briscooes company next to the motel was loading or unloading material. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. They brought us a large cooking pot that was missing. We were also able to do our laundry at no extra cost.

We had parking space right next to our unit. It had nice outdoor furniture, a bright living area and comfortable rooms. It was really quiet. It even had washing and drying facilities on site which was not mentioned in the listing.

A 1 night stay to break up our journey from Wellington to Hamilton. Large 1 bedroom apartment which was very well organised and clean. Two large sofas made for a comfortable relaxing evening. The pool is small but the hot tub (no bubbles) was heated to 38 degrees. Both were enjoyable. The kitchen (no oven) had everything you needed to prepare a meal. The staff were friendly and provided a bottle of milk for a much needed cup of tea

    Loved the self fill private hot pool, the heated towel rail was an unexpected bonus. Perfect for self catering with a real oven, range of kitchen utensils, and a small fridge with a small freezer for ice cream. Super comfy bed and very clean. Enjoyed late afternoon drinks on balcony (in June!), set back from road so not a lot of traffic noise.

    Excellent location, very bright spacious, comfortable, well equipped unit, spotlessly clean. The way the mutts are set, all have balconies with good outdoor seating. The kitchen area was fabulous, everything you need for self catering. Loretta the Manager was amazing, so friendly, polite and helpful. Kylie on reception was very helpful and efficient. All in all a great stay, I’d definitely stay there again next time I’m in Taupo.

    Really spacious, well equipped apartment in great location on the lake, close to shops, bars and restaurants. Perfect base for exploring Taupo. We’re spending a month in NZ self catering, great to have such a well equipped kitchen.
