The location was perfect, overlooking the bay and park. Also just a ten minute walk from the Blue-eyed penguins. Ample parking and easy to find, just off the main highway. Sandra, our host was brilliant, so informative, told us all the things to do and see in Omaru and beyond. Could not have asked for more.

This is a superb cottage close to one of the beaches in Timaru. The cottage is very well appointed, very spacious, and has everything we needed. The location is excellent, with a great sea view, and sunrise views, and it is very quiet and peaceful. We especially enjoyed the excellent shower and the fireplace!

I would recommend this accommodation to those who have strict standards when choosing accommodation for travel, and who prefer to stay out of the noisy city centre. Any of the people who find themselves picky, and if they're unhappy with this house, they are insane. ;) This beautiful unit in Timaru has been so cleanly renovated and it is perfectly managed by its owners, Anne-Marie and Blair. In fact, they also use it as a holiday house, providng guests everything we need. As someone who is pretty picky about everything, this unit was almost the only accommodation that was spotlessly clean, with nothing to complain about!! There was a small issue but it didn't matter really much because they responded and handled it very quickly, and I would say this lovely unit was perfect enough to cover it up and 100% satisfied. I hope everyone staying in this unit will use this place as clean and responsible as its owners do.
