House exceeded our expectations! Helena was very gracious and provided a great breakfast based on our schedule. The house was well appointed, everything you want and expect when traveling, including an extensive honor bar. Highly recommend and hope to come back! Saw many comments about being at top of hill which it is, so having a car was a big plus. Anyone traveling to Douro should expect hills!

The small details such as the bottles of water, cookies, and coffee that were available in the kitchen. The house was equipped with everything. Really lovely place. I came to Pinhão as I had followed the Celebrity Race Across The World first leg trip from Morroco to Pinhão. The up a stairway from street level allowed for a wonderful view of the area. The apartment was lively and clean. It had everything there. It was raining constantly during my stay but I had a look at the garden which would have been lovely on a summer's stay. It was a 5 minute walk to the train station and n wine & tapas bars, cafes, restaurants and supermarkets a long the street. Vineyard within walking distance.if I make back to Pinhão I would stay here.
