An absolute gem of a hotel. In a great upbeat location where buildings formerly serving the Port industry are now hotels and restaurants - and with perfect views across the Douro River to Porto. The staff are truly amazing - luxury service and anticipating all needs in a non-pretentious and non-fawning way. Great spa available without charge other than for treatments (i.e. massage). Very welcoming of our dog. We had a 1 bedroom suite with balcony overlooking river and Porto - it was just perfect. Bed and other furniture very comfortable. Fabulous breakfast offered as part of room rate. We also ate several other meals in the two restaurants (Pot&Pan and Bello Rooftop) - very nice menus, food was delicious and service fantastic. Convenient and safe parking in parking garage attached to hotel.

Everything was perfect) location is great, apartment is really comfortable and with the great view, we didn’t use kitchen much, but seems it had everything needed to cook and serve dinner On the first floor there is a cafe and breakfast is served there, breakfast is good paired with delicious coffee (especially if you’re lover of alternative coffee) What I would also mention is high level of service, Dino was hospitable and responsive, even found a hair conditioner for us 3 ladies)

The studio is very large, has two small outdoor spaces and is truly beautifully designed. It has everything you need for your stay, including cookware, coffee, laundry facilities, dishwasher, etc. Parking is nearby in a private garage. The location is fantastic for exploring Gaia and the many port houses and a manageable walk over to Porto. Elisa and Seraphim are lovely owners and communicated regularly and every morning brought by pastries and breads to start my day!

The Apartment itself is super spacious with a living room and balcony, a kitchen, a bathroom and a bedroom. The living room has a Great Dining table and large TV and a sofa on the softish side. The kitchen is equipped with some Pots and Pans as well as some dishes and cutlery and cooking Basics. The bedroom has a bed with a pretty soft mattress and is equipped with blinds that make it funny dark. The bedroom is also facing away from the Street so it was very quiet. The Location is amazing - in a residential Area in Portos Gaia District. It’s a ways from the old Town but set amazingly for visiting the southern beaches and also just around the corner from several supermarkets including a huge Continente with a size that reminded us of the US. There are a few parking lots outside on the street as well as a Garage for parking. The Garage is relatively narrow, but it was alright for a Peugeot 208. Check-in was through a pincode box. Communication with the host was good and straight forward.

I really liked that they have mini kitchen in the room and it’s so nice that they prepared local beverages and you can try a lot of snacks for a reasonable price. And we love that it’s dog friendly! Actually it was one of ours best stays ever!

The only thing positive about this location is that the kitchen looked modern and had most things you would need to use when cooking. Besides that, the mattress if the bed itself was comfortable.

Very clean. Lovely finish to the bathroom and kitchen area. Bed was very comfy. Air con worked really well and the shower was very spacious with plenty of hot water. The terrace views are stunning. The location is superb...1-2 min stroll to numerous tourist attractions shops and restaurants. A tip is if you dont have a car, get the cable car down from the metro to the waterfront instead of dragging your suitcases down all the steps and through the cobbled streets. The cable car station is 1 min from the apt.

Great location, close to river but far enough away to ensure a quiet stay. Our host was attentive and responded quickly to requests and questions we had. The room was very spacious and we had amazing views from our top floor room. The kitchen was really well equipped. I suggest parking in paid parking to start with. Later in the evening it is reasonably easy to find free parking nearby.
