The apartment exceeded our expectations, we were fortunate enough to book a room that had the most amazing sea view! The facilities were exceptional including a fully stocked kitchenette that allows you to cook your own food if required, and lovely jacuzzi bath and the property was in both good and stylish decorative order, bed was amazing and my partner and I felt immediately at home and relaxed, so much so we’re going to change the plans of our holiday, return to relatives for one night (6 hour return drive) then travel back to stay for two more nights!

Beautiful, clean, well located - close to town. They had a binder of recommendations, a little welcome bag of local snacks, and the owners (some kind of vacation rental company) were quick to respond and communicate, and were very helpful! Plenty of bedrooms and space - we had a 2 and a 5 year old with us. They had everything you need to make meals at home, plenty of towels for guests to shower, and even a set of beach towels we could use! Instructions on arrival and checkout were very clear and straightforward.

This nautical wonder of a property is nestled in a quiet street near the sea. Its position is a bit like finding chocolate you hid last Christmas then forgot. As a Brit the lack of a kettle was a shock right up until I gave myself a good talking too and remembered I was in America and had no right to demand such trivialities. So I got on with boiling the water in a saucepan and enjoyed the well appointed kitchen, the very comfortable enormous bed and the heating system that warmed the entire house in a few minutes. This place was cleaner than a frogs armpit and tastefully furnished in New England memorabilia. With amble clothes storage and multiple TV channels you could easily forget that the sea is just a short stroll away. I didn’t actually go in the sea you understand as it looked colder than an Eskimos outhouse but the thought was there. So if you’re looking for a little getaway perfectly placed to discover New England in a lovely Massachusetts style town with boutique shops and restaurants then this place is highly recommended. And I’m over the lack of a kettle, honestly.
