It was located only 2 minutes on foot away from the old bazaar ( literally quite central) and it had its own parking on the site which is not very usual for the hotels in the old town of Gjirokaster. The view of the castle was jaw-dropping and all the landscape seemed majestic from our room . The exterior was built with the elements of the traditional houses in Gjirokaster, whereas the interior offered a high class decoration, with super modern equipment , extremely comfortable beds and crystal clear rooms. The hosts couldn’t have been more sweet , helpful and friendly. This villa isn’t for those who want just a bed and Wi-Fi. It’s for souls craving something quietly extraordinary. A place that doesn’t scream luxury but whispers magic. We will definitely come here each time we visit Gjirokaster and i totally recommend this villa to everyone!!

This is the most cozy apartment we have ever stayed in. It’s like staying with family. Especially as the lady of the house came to bring us delicious food several times. She brought us rice pourage which brought me back to my youth 🤗 The bed is super comfortable, the shower and WiFi are great. The apartment has everything and more than you can wish for as its awfully furnished house. The location was perfect for us. We enjoyed the road up to the center and it was easy to park the car infront of the apartment. As every location up till now has been challenging to find in Albania. For us we followed google maps and then drove up the hill until we saw a bruncht blue house on the left hand side.

This was the best value for my money in all my many years of travel. The apartment was immaculately clean, spacious, well accomodated and in a location convenient to all restaurants and activities in town.

The apartment has enough space for a family (with 2 kids) and is very comfortable. The kitchen is very well equipped and we loved the bathroom with rain shower. Finally, we were very glad there was a washing machine. The owner is very helpful and made some great suggestions about the trip to the apartment and were to find nice restaurant etc. We made a roadtrip through Albania for 10 days and this was one of the most comfortable apartments we stayed in for the best price.

The breakfast was extensive and very delicious. The hostess is truly amazing. Even though you don’t speak the same language, with hand gestures and Google Translate, you get by quite well. She’s incredibly kind. The accommodation has a small kitchen that you can use. The location is high up, and you have a view of the castle. Additionally, it’s very close to Ali Pasha’s bridge. If you want to walk to the center, it’s about 15 minutes downhill. Keep in mind that you’ll have to go back up. If you have difficulty walking or aren’t in good shape, you can also take the bus up and let them know where you want to get off
