We had a lovely relaxing time and would rate this as one of the top 5 places we’ve stayed in around the world. The peace and tranquility was amazing, the facilities, the pool, bathroom and kitchen were great too. The sounds from the rainforest at night were unforgettably amazing. We would definitely stay here again (and will bring back the pool towel we accident left with haha)

We enjoyed our stay at the Mist at Cape Tribulation tremendously. The eco-luxe pavilion we stayed in was well-designed, clean and close to the amenities such as restaurants, Madja, Kulki boardwalks, and Thornton’s Beach lookout. In the evening, we also enjoyed sitting on the day-bed at the verandah, observing the sights and sounds of the floral and fauna of the Daintree Rainforest. Lilian and Kim were excellent hosts — hospitable, warm and friendly.

Plenty of privacy, surrounded by rainforest, with endless views all around. The property was open plan, and exactly what was described in the listing. Very relaxing and very tranquil. The property is self contained having everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The complimentary beverages in the fridge were a plus, and very much appreciated. This property exceeded our expectations.

Everything were very nice looking and practical, especially the pool area which are raised up in level, which is so clever thought of! The outdoor plants and outdoor areas around the house are lovely! In the evening we enjoyed games and the very large screens for movies via our own logins. Melanie, her team and Joe will do all they can to make you comfortable and make sure things work! Remember that you are in a rainforest, which provides exiting sounds and beautiful environment!

This has been one of our best stays in years . Our host Sheree was very hospitable and we felt really welcome. She allowed us a couple hours early check in and late checkout. The house itself was very spacious, well furnished and you could tell that the host took a lot of effort to provide all the amenities. We had a really lovely time there. Thank you so much Sheree.

This place is special! It is right in the middle of the rainforest and everything felt really thoughtful - kind of like the old days of Airbnb! The wraparound deck was beautiful, and there are so many places to sit, hang out, and take in the nature. There were lots of great touches - a basket full of insect stuff, toiletries, cooking bits, towels left out for the outdoor bath, washing supplies, record player, games, books about the birds, binoculars; the list could go on! Ray was a pleasure to communicate with. Getting in was super easy, and the location is good for getting around the Daintree along the main roads. When I am back in grey London I will try and transport myself back here!

Very well stocked kitchen, comfortable living quarters and a large deck overlooking the rainforest. Jacquie is a gracious host; she gave us lots of useful tips to help us enjoy the area. This is such a serene and beautiful place! I hope I can return someday.
