I really appreciate these little touches. The location is excellent! Close to all amenities and, most importantly, right by the water. The surroundings are stunning—I was able to go for walks and jog there every morning. I loved being able to park my car right next to the accommodation and enjoy the terrace.

Reception was friendly, the cabins were clean and separated from one another, and we were quite comfortable. For us, the selling point was the abundance of eastern grey kangaroos on the grounds. There were around each morning and each evening and really helped us enjoy our stay. This was a perfect place to rest between scuba diving trips to Jervis Bay and Bowen Island.

The living room offers a stunning view of the river and the jetty. The scenery is just as wonderful as the photos on Booking.com, if not even better. The rooms are tastefully decorated, blending a sense of history with modern touches. The lakeview bathroom comes with both underfloor heating and an electric heater, which was a nice touch. Our host Rhonda was exceptionally kind and attentive, sharing many stories about her family and the local community. If you have the chance, spend some time chatting with her. She’s fascinating. We had an amazing time and will definitely come back. Many thanks to our host for sharing her lovely home with us.
