Whitsunday Sands Resort is uniquely located on its own private peninsula, by the turquoise waters of the Great Barrier Reef. It offers all guests private access to 2 separate, magnificent beaches. On the eastern side of the resort is Horseshoe Bay, rated as one of the best beaches in Australia, while on the western side is the picturesque Greys Bay. Excellent apartment, very well decorated and very well equipped. The location is as central as possible within the city. Every need we had was within walking distance. Restaurants, supermarket, bar and tourist attractions. It was the first time we were in a property without employees, where the entire check-in/out process was done by us via smartphone. Despite our fear, everything went very well. This apartment made us want to stay longer, but our travel plans didn't allow us to. It's a place we want to return to one day.

Plenty of kitchenwares so easy to make our meals too. The location is quiet. Great choice for family trips. Cockatoos very cute but be careful not to leave the doors open.

The view is incredible, the people running the place are really lovely and the rooms were great. It's also just a five minute walk from town. We would love to book again anytime we're back this way

We have stayed in many accommodations, but this one truly deserves the best review! It has everything you could possibly need for a perfect stay – a cozy and well-equipped cabin, a beautiful setting, and, most importantly, outstanding hospitality. We initially booked for three nights but had to extend day by day due to extreme weather and car troubles. Jenni, who manages the accommodation, was an absolute gem! She was incredibly helpful, flexible, and always available whenever we needed anything. Her kindness and support made all the difference, turning what could have been a stressful situation into a truly special experience. This place is a rare find, and we couldn’t have wished for a better stay. Thank you, Jenni, for everything – we will definitely be back! Highly recommended!

The view and the accommodations were spectacular. Washer & dryer in 2nd bath. Gourmet kitchen. Very large balcony. Nicely decorated. Great artwork. Chinese restaurant in the building. Securred garage in basement included. Staff were great.

Guests can take in the views of the mountain from the patio, which also has outdoor furniture. The accommodation is allergy-free. Ken & Mary are fantastic hosts. We had our 2x small dogs with us and nothing was too much trouble. The ground floor apartment was spacious and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
