The checkin process was smooth and easy. The location is excellent, just a few minutes walk from the city hall. Great connections with different trams and the free Basel card that we received from the hotel made our life so much easier. Our room/studio was spotless, with super comfortable beds and fully equipped kitchen. There was even washing machines and dryers that we could use for FREE! If we’re ever back im Basel, I’ll make sure we book here again.

What a wonderful surprise to have discovered B&B Stirnimann for our two night stay while touring Switzerland. The area is peaceful and lovely and the stay was everything we could ever want and more. Our hosts offered us a warm welcome and made sure we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. The accommodations were not just clean but absolutely spotless and our room was cozy, spacious and very comfortable. We were allowed to use the full kitchen and living room and porch in addition to our room and that was such a treat for us on our long trip. The best part you ask? The best part was Hedi our host who we instantly adored. She is a gracious, funny, kind and friendly force of nature who made sure we were comfortable, offered touring and local information and provided us with a full delicious breakfast. There are some people and places that enhance a trip in special ways that you know you will never forget. Staying at B&B Stirnimann and meeting Hedi will hold a special place in our memory and we hope to return someday.
