This is the perfect place to stay if coming to Easter Island. The cabana is great, clean, well equipped and right in the center of Hanga Roa, next to the beach and with plenty of restaurants around. Kevin and Lynn are awesome young hosts- we did all the tours with Kevin who is also a wonderful and knowledgeable guide. He showed us all around the island. i can’t forget about the cats that also were very friendly and great hosts. this have been the perfect way to spend time in Easter Island and I would recommend to anyone!

A pretty satisfying experience staying there. Although the hostel is not that close to the centre, there are groceries and restaurants within walking distance. Also they can pick up and drop off at the airport for free. Plus, if you join a tour, the hostel is within the area where they can pick you up for free. If you are particular about drinking water, better get some big bottles of mineral water on the way to the hostel.

We absolutely loved our time at Maria Hau Cabanas, the room was perfect and in such an amazing location, right by the sea and close to town. Maria’s son greeted us at the airport and made sure we were looked after our whole trip, thank you for such an amazing time. Cannot recommend enough!

Set in Hanga Roa, Cabañas Moai is 200 metres from Hanga Roa Anthropological Museum. Tahai is 500 metres from the property. Free private parking is available on site. Where to start? The kindness of the host, the perfect location, the moaï in the garden or the peacefulness of this authentic Rapa Nui Cabaña ?.... Everything was perfect ! We stayed there 6 nights and didn't want to leave. Located 5mn away by walk from the beautiful Tahai moaï and only 20mn walk by the coast to reach the center of Hanga Roa. Māururu René, we will be back!

The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep, and the overall quietness of the location meant that every morning we woke up refreshed and ready to tackle the day's adventures. The lodge’s amenities and its serene setting contributed to a feeling of exclusive privacy and comfort. For anyone visiting Rapa Nui, I cannot recommend Kona Koa Lodge enough. It’s not just a place to stay, but an integral part of the experience on this unique island. Jerome and his wonderful lodge are sure to make your visit unforgettable!
