Guests can take in the views of the mountain from the balcony, which also has outdoor furniture. This "Guest House" is huge. A family of 4+ could easily move in here and live comfortably. The back decks are beautiful to just sit and watch the jungle. It is a little way down the road from the city, which means it is quiet and very laid back. I had both a breakfast and a dinner while at the guest house. Both were great portions with a lot of variety, tasty, and well worth the money. Unfortunately, my schedule and Wendy's schedule didn't align for her bird tour. There was lots of flora and fauna to explore. My personal sightings included Toucans and a Morpha butterfly. I'm willing to bet that there was a lot I missed that Wendy could have found and shared!

There is not glass only mesh windows which is nice but a bit loud in the night with animals and rain. The washroom is clean with warm water shower that requires a bit of tinkering to get. Wendy and her family was so nice to us even though we only stayed a day. The location is near the Tirimbina reserve so we stayed here for the night walk. Cute dog too! Hummingbirds were right outside the cabin feasting on flowers.

There was an information booklet in the cabin which had an amazing range of activities, which you can book with the hosts.
