I was welcomed by the friendly daughter Anelka of the owner . 2 rooms and one living room kitchen. All very clean and modern. In each room one double and one single bed very comfortable, air condition, ventilator. The bathroom is large. Hot shower. Toiletries. Large modern kitchen well equipped with induction hob, microwave, coffee filter machine and a lot of plates, glasses . One sofa in the living room. TV. Strong Wifi . They answer quickly to WhatsApp messages. The owner leaves next door. They largely deserve 10.

We really enjoyed our stay and the ocean view was amazing from our balcony. The grounds are beautiful and we could tell the father and daughter team take great pride in their place, with everything being so clean and well taken care of. We felt very safe during the day and at night. The pool area is really nice and breakfast was so good delivered to our room at our specified time. The location is perfect for for being able to explore the whole area.........I could be very happy staying a week here with the little kitchen, view and really great owners.

Staff was amazing, truly wanted to make us comfortable. One of the big reasons we went with this hotel was the availability of the free bikes- which unfortunately kept breaking down. But they went out of their way to fix them for us. We also appreciate the do it-yourself laundry available, and the clean pool to cool off in, during the late afternoon when it’s really hot. The air conditioning worked really well and the location is great; as it is not in the middle of the downtown hustle and bustle. Very close to the national park - we biked there three times! Nice restaurant - Reggae’s - very close. Easy access to stretch of black sand beach that was not full of tourists. We spotted all kinds of tropical birds in the property and a sloth right across the street.

An exceptionally beautiful lodge. The two hosts, Delphine and Bert, have created a little paradise. Everything is absolutely beautiful - the garden, the pool in the middle of the jungle, the houses.... The hosts are very nice, helpful and funny. It is close to the very pleasant village of Cahuita. Thank you for the wonderful time with you. We would love to come back. ❤️

Offering a year-round outdoor pool and tropical garden, La Rana De Cahuita is set 5 km away from the centre of Cahuita. Puerto Viejo is 18 km from the property. Phantastic location and really big house, which was very much appreciated. Also great host, who was always available in case of questions or recommendations.

Situated in Cahuita in the Limon region and Negra reachable within 200 metres, Casa Marcellino Lodge features accommodation with free WiFi, BBQ facilities, a garden and free private parking. We like this place so much that we have returned since first being here two years ago. Marice and Luciano are wonderful hosts. Their property is a jungle oasis close enough to town but far enough to be removed from any of the noise. The place is immaculate, both inside the bungalows as well as within the well tended and manicured grounds. Home to sloths and other interesting creatures. Kitchen is well stocked with everything you may need to cook your own meals. WiFi connection is strong and consistent. Ample places to park if you’re bringing a vehicle. Support staff is friendly and always smiling.

We really loved the location—close enough to Puerto Viejo to get to town quickly, yet totally surrounded by nature, quiet, and very peaceful. The house feels safe and private, with comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms. It has great ventilation, which kept the spaces fresh, and the design gives off a true Caribbean vibe. The property is beautiful and clearly very well taken care of, and the spacious kitchen and living area were perfect for cooking, relaxing, and spending time together as a group.
