The accommodation was spotless, super clean. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen very well equipped. Communication with the host was fast and very professional. The location is very good. Not far away from the city center and the national park. The street where it is located is super quiet.

An exceptionally beautiful lodge. The two hosts, Delphine and Bert, have created a little paradise. Everything is absolutely beautiful - the garden, the pool in the middle of the jungle, the houses.... The hosts are very nice, helpful and funny. It is close to the very pleasant village of Cahuita. The accommodation is fairly basic, but had everything we needed. Loved the outside kitchen. The host, Monica, was very helpful and even arranged a dentist appointment for us when my wife broke a tooth. The great thing is the location, right on the edge of the national park and less than a 5 minute walk into Cahuita. We were lucky to see 15-20 howler monkeys in the garden as well as capuchin monkeys and an agouti. We actually saw more wildlife while chilling out at the property than we saw in the national park.

Situated in Cahuita in the Limon region and Negra reachable within 200 metres, Casa Marcellino Lodge features accommodation with free WiFi, BBQ facilities, a garden and free private parking. The property has been beautifully landscaped and is so well taken care of. Gorgeous shrubs and trees that are well established and flowering all the time. It was quiet and felt so safe and secure. The owners are so friendly, and greeted us with fresh coconuts. All the staff are warm and kind, the gardener and housekeepers were so happy and full of smiles. Every time our cabin was cleaned housekeeping would put fresh flowers around our cabin, and it was such a wonderful touch. So close (3 minutes) to two beaches and restaurants, and a short walk into the cute little town.

Beautiful property and grounds, fully equipped kitchen, comfy bed, clean bathroom, air conditioning (big plus for someone who sleep in cool temp), awesome swimming pool all by ourselves, warm and personable hosts (Fabiola, Markus and David are super friendly and helpful)! The location cannot be better! It is quiet, safe yet just a short drive to the beaches, restaurants and Cahuita National Park. We took the great advice from other travelers to stay in Cahuita area rather than Puerto Viejo!! There are great restaurant options in Puerto Viejo but too busy and run down for our liking. We love our stay at Plaza Tucanito where allow us to explore beautiful beaches nearby and plenty of dining options in Cahuita town. Cahuita National Park is definitely a must visit! We went in the morning and saw tons of wildlife and enjoyed the calm and beautiful Playa Blanca! We also enjoyed Playa Grande en Cahuita : )
