A clean, well-equipped apartment with all the facilities needed for a short stay in Espargos. It's located in a residential area in front of the school, so it's quiet at night. Since we walked from the airport, it was a perfect location for us (on the street into town). Blackout curtains help keep out the morning light. There's a kitchenette with enough utensils to cook a simple meal. An air conditioner worked well and came in handy during a sandstorm.

Excellent excellent excellent!!!! Extremely clean, super big rooms, very comfortable, great location. Has everything you need! The owners are a gem!!! Dila organized for us a tour of the island and she let us do a late check out, which was super convenient because we were flying from Sal at 7 pm, so we could enjoy the beach and then take a shower. I strongly recommend staying here, especially if you’re not a fan of resorts like me but still want to be in a great accommodation. I only have good things to say about this place. You’ll love it! I like the place because was an apartment and I was able to cook if I didn’t want go into a restaurant. I think this was making the difference.

This is the perfect place to stay if you want to get to know the real Sal and its people. The owners went above and beyond to make me feel not only welcome, but truly at home. The room was super comfy, and the food was always delicious (be sure to try one of Candida's secret recipes for dinner, if you get the chance). I was provided with all the help and advice I needed in order to explore the island, and Candida and Martin personally took me to places that only local people know about. If, like me, you prefer a quiet, remote beach over those crowed, touristy ones: there's a small one just a short bicycle ride away – although I usually opted for a walk through to beautiful steppe landscape to get there. If you prefer spending your days with the other tourists down in the south of the island: Santa Maria beach is only 20 minutes by bus – which may sound complicated at first, but is actually super fun and convenient (and it only costs 1 Euro). I could go on praising this place for two weeks (which is actually the amount of time I stayed), but I'll just stop here – not without saying: Thank you, Candida & Martin, for the wonderful time at kleine schweiz! Very nice welcome from the airport to the hotel. Great location in the heart of Santa Maria, close to the beach and lots of restaurants in the area. Room was spacious, balcony looked out into the sea and you have everything you need. Recommended 100%! Thank you so much.
