Situated in the city centre, 400 metres from Nuremberg's Old Town, Melter Hotel & Apartments - a Neighborhood Hotel boasts air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi throughout the property. The location is excellent - on a central street, within walking distance if everything, including the fantastic Christmas markets! Although in a busy area, the soundproofing is great, so we found it very quiet once inside. Staff are friendly and helpful. We arrived early, so we’re able to store our luggage while we explored some of the city. After returning, we found our luggage had been taken to our apartment for us. The decoration and facilities are superb. Very cosy inside. It’s also a short walk to the main train staition (we visited Bamberg one afternoon) and the nearest underground station is closer station (visited Fürth Christmas markets and old town using the U-Bahn). All in all a great stay!

Away from the crowds, but close enough to get there quickly and without traffic. Check-in was wonderful. Andrea met us as we pulled up, showed us to our apartments and handed off the keys with instructions to get in and out, and where to leave the keys upon check out. We were only there for one night, but everything was so clean and comfortable. It was a very chilly evening, and the heat was already on for us. Highly recommend this place for a trip to visit Rothenburg!
