The staff was incredibly kind, flexible and helpful, even with very last minute requests. We were able to take the boats for a round in the lake at no extra cost. The apartments were very clean, modern and well equipped. We even got a potty for our 3 year old without asking for one. We will come back!

On the other hand you could go for strolls, there was a small lake nearby to have a swim in it. The landlords (Alex and Kathi) were super friendly and helpful. We were treated with garden grown vegetables and fruit and our welcome present included self made jam. The apartment was very nice as well. The bedroom was very comfortable, the bathroom big and had a bath in it as well. The kitchen was superb, very sharp cutting knives which made cooking a joy. There was a huge garden, you could sit outside and have brekkie, lunch and dinner. And spent the day laying on a deckchair and relax. A couple of minutes walk was a small supermarkt, GDR style but with all the necessary things, including vegan milk, fresh tasty bread rolls and other things. There were also a lot of small tables outside most of the houses where you could get fresh garden grown vegetables or fruit for a small price.

I booked entirely based on location. We went to the supermarket and cooked a lovely meal for ourselves and then slept beautifully in peace and quiet. There are lots of thoughtful touches. The living space is separate from the sleeping space and you go outside between them, but at this time of year that's fine.
