Walter was just wonderful from beginning to end. He was extremely communicative, making sure all my needs were met. The Apartment was lovely. It was spacious, airy and quite large, a duplex with the bedroom and lavatory on the 2nd floor and a full kitchen, siting area and a patio. It was easy to access the town center once I gave it a go. My time spent was super. I highly recommend considering staying here if you are visiting Santa Cruz. Thank you again Walter for all your amazing service and help!!

This review is written by me but is headlined by Kathryn my friend who made the booking. 🤔La Casa de Amelia is a first rate operation. I stayed there for 9 nights very recently. There are three reasons why I rate this hostal so highly. Firstly, comfort. I had a full one bedroom apartment with all amenities. The unit is bright, very high ceilings, excellent AC, full kitchen, clean and has great Galápagos character. Secondly, value. This is incredible value! Thirdly and most of all, the hosts - they are such a charming and real couple. Anita and her husband Danielle are the real deal. They are most gracious. Thank you guys.

Hostal Cattleya ligger i Puerto Baquerizo Moreno, 1 minutters gang fra Puerto Baquerizo Moreno Strand og 1,1 km fra Playa de Oro Strand, og har en have. Ivan and Trudy are wonderful, friendly hosts. They make a great breakfast with lots of variety, and it's quite picturesque to eat it on the roof. The bed and pillows are comfortable, but the bathroom is a little on the small side. Overall, it's close to the docks but still really quiet. They have two really cute cats.

We had a very big room with an own kitchen and bathroom. It was nice to do some cooking. When traveling for a long time it can be a drag to always have to go to restaurants. We spontaneously decided to stay 2 nights in San Cristobal but had booked all of our time on Santa Cruz. The host was so nice to give us a reduction as we were not around for two days.
