The host is a very nice, hospitable, and decent person who is willing to help by all means. First time to try apartment rental in Alexandria and it was a great one.

Location was excellent - beautiful view overlooking the Mediterranean. The apartment itself has everything you need for a lovely stay. There's not much to do around the area itself - but the walk along the Corniche to the more exciting places is a joy. Nobody bothers you - it's a very pleasant walk watching the locals enjoy their downtime. Maybe a 30-minute walk - you can stop for a tea along the way. The owner met me on arrival and showed me around the apartment - very convenient. All in all, it's great value for money. There's also a shop nearby which sells "Western" stuff if you want to cook at home.
