The location is quiet and in walking distance to the Champagne Avenue. We enjoyed very much ending the evening in the beautiful La Petalerie garden, serving charcuterie boards and champagne.

The breakfast was very basic but it was very cheap so we were not expecting a lot.

A few notes that may be helpful: - If entering at night, have a torch or your mobile handy as the nearest light switch to the door is quite a way in. - Note the wifi code before you go in as our GSM signal was weak inside and so you need the wifi (thick walls!) - The smaller room with a single bed gives off one of the doubles and there is no door or closing. - There is another gite above (with its own entrance) so don’t be surprised if you hear movement upstairs - Remember some change for the tourist tax

The gardens were wonderful and in summer you can dine outside. The very spacious bathroom was excellent with a great shower. There is a compact kitchen easily up to cooking a meal. There is a lobby where dogs can sleep as it is clearly forbidden to let them in the bedroom. Breakfast was served in Christine’s dining room.
