I'm generally not a person that stays in small huts like this, but I was positively surprised by this one. It isn't the most spaceous, but it was great for the two days we stayed there, and if you're a more wilderness/camping kind of person, I definitely recommend it. The surroundings were lovely woods with some nice walking paths, that especially at night provided some great opportunities for star watching, and the hut itself has a nice little kitchen with everything you need (except maybe an oven, but if you do it right, you can definitely do without that), and a nice and clean shower, the beds were also very comfortable. Every hut also has a fire place outside, and the owners provide firewood upon request, if there is no fire ban at the moment, which can happen if it becomes too dry. I can definitely recommend this if you are looking fora little bit more adventurous stay!

Ailsa- Enchanting Tiny House with wood burner and hot tub in Cairngorms ligger i Ballater. Her er gratis wi-fi og bjergudsigt. Derudover er der en have og en terrasse. House was extraordinarily cute with an amazing view. All the info was very easily laid out and the house was super clean. The wood stove was all set up for us upon arrival and worked very well. Hot tub was incredible after a long day of hiking in the Cairmgorns and was very easy to use singlehandedly. Kitchen was well stocked.

The accommodation fully met our expectations, very quiet and very pretty. Tina gave us a very warm welcome and helped us very patiently despite our poor knowledge of English. Thanks for that again. Nice touch with the bottle of red wine and the guest information booklet, made me feel well looked after by the hosts.

The accommodation was spotless, quiet and comfortable — the perfect place to relax after exploring the nearby distilleries and countryside. Lou and jan were truly exceptional hosts: warm, welcoming, and full of local tips that made our visit even more special. You can really tell how much care they put into every detail. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience — highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!
