The property was extremely well-equipped with a beautiful bath, cosy lounge, delicious coffee, flufffy bed and excellent washing machine. In a remote and quiet location, I found my stay here very relaxing. The host was attentive to my enquired and made me feel very welcome. I wish I could’ve stayed longer!!

The house is incredibly charming, cozy, and clean — both my husband and I loved it, and our children were equally thrilled. It’s located on a quiet street and for two days we truly felt like locals in the Scottish Hebrides - the house offers an exceptionally warm “English home” feeling while traveling. We did our classic “British grocery shop” at a nearby Tesco, which had everything we needed. Stornoway is a perfect base, with everything on the Isle of Lewis and Isle of Harris within short trip. One of our most beautiful memories from our Scottish road trip is definitely “our little house in the Hebrides.” Highly recommended to everyone!

Stornoway Bed and Breakfast is set in two properties in the centre of Stornoway, only 250 metres on foot from Stornoway Ferry Terminal and a 2-minute walk from the bus station. Lovely comfortable room and bonus of having a shared lounge and kitchen on site. Was able to cook my own dinner and as it was not too busy had the entire place for myself. Centrally located to explore the beautiful castle gardens. Highly recommended.
