We hired car and drove to close famous beaches like Falasarna and Elafonisi. We went also to famous Balos beach by boat from near Port of Kissamos. We drove to close Platanias and Chania. We had a perfect vacation.

Also available are disabled-friendly rooms. very clean place, you have access to a beach and the pool. There is also a bar on site for you to enjoy. There is also a restaurant on site as well, and I highly recommend try to eat at the restaurant, it's really good (can be a bit pricy compared with local restaurant). highly recommend this place

The owner was very nice and helpful, the place was STUNNING (special mention to the bathroom). There are cleaning ladies coming everyday (and you can use the washing machines downstairs for free, you only have to ask the front desk), the kitchen is fully equiped (except Nespresso machine), the bed is comfortable, they even leave cakes sometimes at the front desk for the clients to grab before starting the day. Also very nice and unexpected is the supermarket which is literally at 20 m. We recommend Caprice and Tzatziki Lays Chips ! Thank you Achatis !!!

Situated in Kounoupidhianá, 2 km from Agios Onoufrios Beach, Heliades Residence features accommodation with a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. Located around 5.3 km from House-Museum of Eleftherios Venizelos, the hotel with free WiFi is also 5.4 km away from The Holy Monastery of Agia Triada. Chania Old Venetian Harbour is 7.5 km from the hotel and Mitropoleos Square is 7.5 km away. Property was new construction, very clean, and well equipped. I felt extremely safe and the neighborhood was very quiet. I appreciated having a washing machine and also laundry detergent. The view of the sea from the balcony was awesome. Enjoyed being close to small town so I could walk to local restaurants to savor the local cuisine. Close to bus route 18 if you wanted to visit port of Chania. Owner was very accommodating and when my return trip became delayed, he was very helpful in assisting me to secure lodging. I definitely plan to come back to Crete and stay at the Heliades Property.
