The host is very responsive and warmly welcomed us. My kids had a great time playing tennis and paddle. The kitchen was well-stocked for cooking for my family. Even though I wasn't very organized, I still enjoyed my stay here. I didn't realize how far it was from main roads, and there weren't any nearby grocery stores. Luckily, the hosts helped me out with gas, which was very kind of them.

Besides that i want to stay this place is just perfect if you want to have a quiet time in the nature, far away from virtually everything, but on the same time near enough to reach it on a weekend. The views of snow capped Vardoussia and Giona mountains you had from the village where also quite spectacular.

Scalma was exactly what we needed to spend the perfect New Years Eve, as we did not want to take the traditional approach. We got to recharge our souls, we rested due to the comfortable beds. Cooked food as the apartments are fully equipped with everything you might need. But I guess what impressed us the most, was the silence and peace of it all. We enjoyed the morning walks on the pebbly shoreline to the nearby villages, listened to the waves, and had the most beautiful sunrises and sunsets, overlooking the Rio-Antirrio Bridge. For this place you may need to rent a car, as it was created far from the noise of the towns...but we had no problem with it. We loved exploring Nafpaktos, and nearby villages. With a car you can really be adventurous. Our host was very accommodating and I believe it was the start of a friendship. I guess it all depends on what you are looking for in a holiday. The boys played table tennis, and soccer... there were plenty of activities that they thought about. I could write an entire essay about this, but it is all in the eyes of the beholder. It was perfect for us!

Really nice gesture, highly appreciated. They really made us feel good in the apartment.

Layout was perfect as we had a 21 month old with us and the bedrooms were down a hallway with a door at the end for an extra noise barrier. Chickens and sheep in the neighboring yards which was another plus since traveling with a small child. Space was spotless and we were gifted a liquor made by the wide. Would definitely recommend.
