Antonio is the sweetest host ever! He showed me how to use a Moka, gave me a ride to and from the station, carried my luggage, and told me all about the area. I was able to do laundry with no issue and the apartment was really comprehensively (and beautifully) furnished. I could have easily bought some groceries and stayed there for a full week or two and not missed anything. Sulmona isn't super big so I'd highly recommend visiting nearby towns. The buses aren't too hard to figure out but driving may give you some more flexibility with timing. Would recommend learning some Italian since this is a less touristic area. The breakfast is prepackaged pastries/toasts and jelly. There's coffee and tea as well. I had a pretty short stay so it was fine for me since they were pretty yummy. There were pots and pans though, so you could make something else very easily. This place very quickly felt like home!

The view from house is amazing, the apartment is very big. But the best is the owner Vincenzo that cared for us like for own family 😊- even took us to the town 10 km far as there was no bus, he really helped us a lot even if he didn't have to 🙏 we recommend to stay in his house, the hospitality, location, everything is perfect.
