First of all, I would like to highlight the receptionist Mary, her kindness and helpfulness. Always smiling and in a good mood. The accommodation has everything you need for a few days' stay by the sea. Beach towels and a parasol are available. The beach is just a few steps from the accommodation. The kitchen is fully equipped, free tea and coffee are available at any time of the day. Beer and soft drinks are available in the fridge for a fee. The terrace with a glass wall and a beautiful view of the sea is also beautiful. The most beautiful terrace in the surrounding area. The apartments are newly renovated, beautiful, clean. Our satisfaction is 100%.

A beautiful property, perfectly located to explore Etna, Catania, and Taormina. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and very comfortable. The hotel grounds are immaculately maintained and lush with greenery, creating a peaceful atmosphere. The pool was a real treat — clean, inviting, and surrounded by greenery, making it a perfect spot to relax after a day of sightseeing. Breakfast was another highlight: a generous and delicious spread featuring freshly baked croissants and seasonal local fruits. What truly made our stay exceptional was the host and the wonderful staff. They were incredibly helpful, offering great suggestions for activities and even booking restaurants for us. Their genuine hospitality and attention to detail made all the difference. We felt truly cared for, and we would absolutely return.

We loved this property so much. It is a beautiful spacious apartment located on a gorgeous little side street just off Corso Umberto. There is the most amazing roof terrace with stunning views in all directions. We loved sitting up here every night and looking out over the beautiful coastline. But the most special thing about this accommodation is its wonderful owner Ugo. He is without doubt the best host we have ever stayed with. He collected us from the train station and drove us along the coastline pointing out all the things to see before parking up and walking us through the heart of Taormina (carrying my not so light bag -thank you Ugo 😅) and showed us the best places to eat and drink. In the apartment he has thought of everything that could be needed during a stay and had wine and fruit left for us. He texted us all his recommendations and we tried every one of them and they were all fantastic. We had such a special few days in Casa Amelia in Taormina and we will definitely be back again. I really enjoyed the tranquility of this place. It's just a few minutes away by car from the city yet surrounded by nature. Everything was new, modern, well organized and very clean. The property itself is very spacious, so some days we felt like we were the only ones there.. even though there were other guests staying there as well :)... Overall, we've had a wonderful time at Cortilio and would definitely come back again. I highly recommend it to anyone who's thinking about booking, you get great value for the price 👌
