This is our third visit to Barolo and by far the best place we stayed in Diego and his parents welcomed us warmly and we were happy to find a small local place , with its own traditional vineyard, 5 mins walk to downtown Barolo with all the charm of an old place but with the amenities of a modern place, including a great big shower and super comfy bed. The owner is very friendly and available if needed, it was easy to communicate with him as he speaks English very well, the location is great with an amazing view of the Alps and lots of stars at night, it's very calm around, there's lots to do in the area and beautiful villages to see, the bed is very comfortable and everything is pretty new which is nice We liked that the sheets and towels didn't smell like strong detergent as it's often the case in airbnb and that we could leave our compost on site!
