Vineho is definitely one of my favorite places to stay during this long vacation. Lucia is such a lovely girl and helped me to book three decent fine restaurants on the arrival day. Lucia’ mom is so considerate with many details which really makes me have a home-stay feeling. The most beautiful memory is the pasta-learning class from Lucia’ grandma. I enjoyed so much in the whole time. The location was great with beautiful vineyards all around, and ten minutes drive to reach the good restaurants. I strongly recommend Vineho to you if you want to come to Barolo area.

Close walking distance to cafes,restaurants, shops, transport,the Tartufo Festival. I'll stay there again next time I'm in Alba, hopefully next year!

We planned to arrive at a time where Mauro, our host, wanted to meet us at the entrance - but since we were a bit early, he could not join. So we got the code to the lock box where the keys are stored. Communication via Whatsapp was perfect. Mauro offered to come by at the original time (which we very much appreciated) and gave us some pointers around the appartment as well as very useful information on Alba and all the small villages around that are worth paying a visit. Now on the appartment itself: It is not like some heartless room, the moment we stepped through the door, we felt at home. Even coffee and some snacks are provided. You have a fully featured kitchen (dishwasher, oven, microwave, fridge), washing machine and dryer. The entrance is in the inner courtyard, behind the large door shown in the pictures, we could park our car directly in front of the appartment - off trafic. The location is really next to the old city center of Alba, just across the street. I don´t think you will find a much better spot in Alba.

The owner is very friendly and available if needed, it was easy to communicate with him as he speaks English very well, the location is great with an amazing view of the Alps and lots of stars at night, it's very calm around, there's lots to do in the area and beautiful villages to see, the bed is very comfortable and everything is pretty new which is nice We liked that the sheets and towels didn't smell like strong detergent as it's often the case in airbnb and that we could leave our compost on site!

Nice shower and bathroom facilities and enough space to hang clothes etc. Convenient to have a washing machine too.
