This is literally the house of waleed’s grandfather in the old village of Dana, which he renovated as a small hotel. The generosity and hospitality and warmth of the family is what makes it so special — I stayed only one night but left with so many wonderful memories. I speak some Arabic, so my particular experience may have been extra special—but I feel like anyone with a heart will feel at home. My day in Dana was honestly the highlight of my time in Jordan—not as flashy as Petra or wadi rum, but absolutely stunning and full of genuine and wonderful people. It is rustic — so if you really need a modern style hotel, this is not your place. But it was cozy and comfortable and warm and wonderful; what more could I hope for?

It was a really nice place, nice clean rooms, good location and a very helpful and friendly owner. I reccomand to everybody, this is the best accomodation.

The Apartment was huge and had two bed rooms and two bathrooms. The owner was exceptional and provided us with everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The wifi was very strong and is also suitable for remote work. The apartment was super clean. Additionally, the owner provided optional breakfast and a local dinner for an additional charge.

Mini-supermarkets for essentials within walking distance & two local masjids as well close by. Facilities' used: Wi-Fi, TV etc. Dining table set, Kitchen storage, Crockery, Cooking-ware & utensils. Gas Cooker with oven, Microwave, Fridge-Freezer. Washing Machine, Vacuum cleaner. Fully furnished rooms & lounge. Portable electric heaters. Our experience:: Excellent, wonderful, homely. Host (Mum), Mohammed (& Ayman) were helpful from the time we booked to the day we left. Mohammed specks good English & was very helpful with any arrangement, need or request – going out of his way to make our stay enjoyable.. Breakfasts provided were freshly made; hearty & healthy, made with local foodstuffs. We simply advised of the time & it was ready - even as early as 6.30am!. Mum will also do dinner if requested, at a very reasonable JoD cost (we simply did no have time to take this up). This is simply perfect for families.
