Located in Kyoto, less than 1 km from Gion Shijo Station, Gion Elite Terrace provides accommodation with a shared lounge, private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. With free WiFi, this 4-star hotel offers a concierge service and luggage storage space. Certain rooms at the property include a balcony with a garden view. This is an absolutely beautiful hotel. So comfortable, spacious and very conveniently located. There were four of us in a room, with two large beds, large flat screen TV with access to Netflix, private sauna, AI (for the lights, blinds etc.), microwave, sink and fridge. There are facilities for clothes washing, breakfast is optional (we didn't do breakfast), and self service area for tea, coffee, lattes, mocha etc. This was a hit for the family. Everyone is extremely helpful. It's a 3 minute walk to the Higashiyama District, and Hanami-koji street with several convenience stores nearby. We were also able to easily walk to Nishiki Market, and Yasaka Shrine. I will definitely go back to Gion Elite Terrace if I have the opportunity.

We also liked the small kitchen and the balcony with a direct view on the river.
