The hosts are so kind to introduce the heritage as well as the history & traditions of the area, and help me to explore the area in a most enjoyable and convenient way. My trip was filled with sense of history, wonderful scenery & findings, and joyful learning, which couldn't be possible without staying in this accommodation and the hosts.

Far bigger than we expected! Also - super stylish and "retro", full of old, beautiful furniture and filled with various nooks and crannies. On top of all of that, it is super well equipped and everything works perfectly. Location couldn't be better, right between Nara train station and the famous Nara deer park. We were very lucky and grateful to find this superb apartment.

The spacious holiday home has 4 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, bed linen, towels, a flat-screen TV with streaming services, a dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, and a terrace with inner courtyard views. For added privacy, the accommodation has a private entrance and is protected by full-day security. I really cant praise the place enough. The house itself was charming and serene, with two beautful courtyards and balconies, as well as a sort of private, spacious studio on the second floor. There was a tatami room and a living room with a kotatsu so it was very cosy in the evenings. The house was so well equipped, with every comfort, luxury and convenience, and generous gifts of Nara strawberries, sweets and hot drinks. It was impeccably clean and well organised with gorgeous displays of real lilies and seasonal flowers in the tokonoma. The location was perfect, a short and very interesting walk from Kintetsu Nara station, and 30 seconds from the Daibtsu Ike. It was so ideal a location, I don't imagine I will ever be as lucky finding a holiday home as enjoyable.

We loved the attention to detail, especially the vintage record player with Japanese vinyls and how well stocked the kitchen was (oil, spices, rice, coffee etc. - the best we had in Japan!). Staff was very accommodating. Very spacious, perfect for our group. We had to change the group size due to a mistake of our own and it was very easy to resolve, thank you for that. We had a great time!
