The property is furnished well and reminded me of a personal bach/summer house, feels like home - loved it. The property is well equipped - a full-blown kitchen with everything you need to cook, a bathroom, a dining table, a fridge, free Wi-Fi, and free parking. The owner left some "welcome" ice cream in the freezer and then brought a watermelon he had grown in his garden as a welcome gift. Nice touch. Big supermarket store right next door - food, drinks, medicines etc. (cash only). Great location - close to major Katsuki attractions, not long drive to Beppu. The host is very friendly and helpful. At the end of the stay, he gave us a tour of Kitsuki samurai residences which was a great bonus. Thank you, sir, it was much appreciated. I highly recommend to stay here if you're visiting Kitsuki, Beppu or nearby areas.

They even have indoor game sets like Jenga, Mahjong, UNO. We had an amazing time staying here, and would love to stay again when coming to Beppu again in the future! The owner was also super kind, always making sure that we are enjoying our stay!

The place was super clean, spacious, and peaceful. The private onsen was so relaxing and really made the trip. Great location—close to shops and sights. A perfect spot to enjoy the charm of Yufuin and experience a bit of traditional Japan.
