Best vegetarian food I ate my whole trip (dinner pic included). Breakfast included homemade bread that was still warm...The whole place consisted of: an entry way, toilet room, traditional tatami mat room with mattresses on the floor, small kitchenette and living/dinning area with AC. There is a shower room off the living space shared with the host family. There was also a beautiful back deck with the sauna and mosquito netting for sitting outside. The house is a very short walk to the Teshima Art Museum which was the main point of our trip. It is also a nice walk to La foret des murmures and the electric bike I rented form the host was perfect for getting everywhere else on the island.

And the owner was fantastic and help us a lot to find beautiful locations in the island and all the information that we needed.

My family and I love it here SO MUCH. This place has exceeded all of our expectations. We used every single amenity- the fireplace, the sauna, the hot tub, the speakers, and many gadgets in the kitchens. The beds are super comfy, too. Before bed, we dimmed the lights, had the fireplace on, and watched TV in the living room. This is a great place to build unique memories. My fam and I are still talking about it!
