We arrived after our chilly hike along the trail to a very warm and inviting traditional home. It was stocked with tea, coffee and drinks in the fridge, as well as some snacks. There were so many different areas to sit and relax in the home, we felt soo welcome and at home we did not want to leave. This was a stark contrast to our Air bnb we had in Kyoto where we felt we could not relax or enjoy the property. The sleepy town was fun to explore, the cafe next door was also very warm and welcoming filled with music and warmth. And the beds!! Being 6 months pregnant I was a little worried about the traditional futons on the floor but it was the best sleep I has the whole 3 weeks in Japan. I also appreciated the number of chairs for me to sit in. Overall a very enjoyable and relaxing stay, we wish we could have stayed longer.

This property was very modern and had the most facilities out of all the different places we have stayed at, there were plenty of supplies for us and an amazing selection of tea and coffee. I liked how they had a water purifying button on their kitchen tap allow us to switch to drinkable water. I would definitely book this home again if I were to return.

Very beautiful home. Everything is picture-perfect. There is a small kitchen and fridge which you can use. There is an O2 box also which looked fascinating. However, as my stay was very short, so I didn't have time to use it. A very large bedroom is on the 2nd floor. It has 1 double bed and 2 single beds, perfect for a family trip.
