This was our best room during our 10 days family trip in Japan. It says 2 bed room apartment, but in reality you have a complete apartment: 2 bed rooms with each 2 double beds + living room with another sofa bed that could takes 1-2 people, so it was spacious. Full kitchen, washing machine (free with detergent, drying). 10-15 minutes walk from Takayama JR station, for check in yes you need to go to nearby Wat Hotel and reception staff was very helpful despite language issue. For car driver, they even provide a free parking lot. Highly recommended.

Masa is an outstanding host. Knowing that I was in town for the Gujo Odori Festival, he introduced me to one of the dancers and helped me having a memorable experience. He also recommended many different places to eat and visit and assisted me with the transportation of my very heavy luggage. I really wish to go back one day and have more time to enjoy his well-equiped and cozy house! I will never forget my short - but incredible - stay at this beautiful place.

This property was very modern and had the most facilities out of all the different places we have stayed at, there were plenty of supplies for us and an amazing selection of tea and coffee. I liked how they had a water purifying button on their kitchen tap allow us to switch to drinkable water. I would definitely book this home again if I were to return.
