The location was perfect for getting to the old part of the town a quick 10 mins walk away. The hosts were both amazing so friendly and accommodating, nothing was a problem. we had the place to ourselves the first night so it was quiet. Would highly recommend this as a great place to stay in Takayama.

The location is in quiet area, close to the river. The apartment has all amenities and nice garden with bathtub. I would highly recomend this place

We arrived after our chilly hike along the trail to a very warm and inviting traditional home. It was stocked with tea, coffee and drinks in the fridge, as well as some snacks. There were so many different areas to sit and relax in the home, we felt soo welcome and at home we did not want to leave. This was a stark contrast to our Air bnb we had in Kyoto where we felt we could not relax or enjoy the property. The sleepy town was fun to explore, the cafe next door was also very warm and welcoming filled with music and warmth. And the beds!! Being 6 months pregnant I was a little worried about the traditional futons on the floor but it was the best sleep I has the whole 3 weeks in Japan. I also appreciated the number of chairs for me to sit in. Overall a very enjoyable and relaxing stay, we wish we could have stayed longer.

Though I never met the host in person, they were very quick to respond to questions and helped us with luggage forwarding to this location. The view from the hotel is very nice, located near the sea and easy to access. It was spacious and clean, with all necessary facilities which made the stay very comfortable. The host was also very welcoming, and the information provided on booking were matching reality. In summary, it was a great experience, I would definitely recommend it.

Everything was perfect. We were a family of 4. More than enough room. Convenient stores nearby. Subway nearby. And place was very clean. We traveled on a holiday and we were so happy to be able to check in early. I would like to thank the host for helping this trip be memorable for my entire family. Highly recommend this place! 😃
