The house is beautiful, large, and superbly equipped. The host (George) took great care of us. He arranged boat transportation from Shimoni to the island and a tour of the Kisite-Mpunguti Marine Park (only our family, George, the captain, and the guide, were on the boat). He organized a walking tour of the island and village, which was fascinating. He can also arrange transportation to Mombasa at a very attractive price. George arranged home-cooked meals by a woman from the village, which were delicious. There are no cars on the island, and it maintains its quiet beauty, and one can walk around the area and meet some friendly people. The island's people have managed to preserve their heritage, and you can learn about their traditions, daily life, language, and traditional coastal seafood. A unique experience away from mass tourism. I highly recommend it.

He is an impressive person with a fascinating life story – just getting to know him is an enriching experience. The entire team (Alpha - my brother from another mother😎, Miriam❤️, Jaqline❤️, Mary, Jacob, and many more) offers service of the highest standard: whether it's food requests, shopping, or even accompanying guests to the beach (essential as a woman traveling alone) – no wish is left unfulfilled. You can feel that they put their heart and soul into their work. Very trustworthy people (I won friends for life) - quite the opposite from the negative experiences directly on the beach(!) which btw, you just cannot avoid. The garden, which is tended daily, is stunningly beautiful, and the fresh papayas from their own garden for breakfast are simply heavenly. Most of all, however, I will miss the people on site, who showed us with their warmth what many have forgotten: humanity. I will definitely be back – THANK YOU, friends!❤

He drove me to buy dinner at night cause I arrived around 8pm-ish, for my safety. His colleague (Donald) was also super helpful, promptly responding to my requests - I had to mention this! I was there for a wedding, so I didn't really stay long enough within the Apartment to enjoy the serenity of the place - like the spacious room, Netflix, the beach, etc. I was always out for wedding activities. Wish I stayed longer.

A Delightful & Relaxing Stay at Baali Diani Apartments I spent three nights at Baali Diani Apartments with my partner, and it was a wonderful stay. From arrival to check-out, the staff were warm, attentive and genuinely eager to help — special mention to Dan (night watcher) and chef Clara, both of whom went above and beyond. The apartment was spotless, nicely furnished, with good air-conditioning (a must in the warm evenings), and the kitchen well-stocked for basic use. Breakfast was fresh and nicely presented, giving a good start to the day. The garden and pool area offer a peaceful escape, perfect for relaxing after beach time. While it’s not right on the sand, the beach is still easily walkable, and the location feels safe and calm. A few minor notes: more kitchen utensils (chopping board, additional pots) might help for guests who cook more. Also, hot water wasn’t always consistent in the shower, but not enough to spoil the experience. Overall, great value — I’d happily stay here again and recommend it to anyone wanting a comfortable, friendly, peaceful base at Diani without paying resort prices.

The house is exactly as the pictures. The pool (although a bit small for our liking), was my favorite part , we had it all to ourselves. The bed was very comfortable, the location is close to supermarkets and you can walk to the beach.
