Caroline and her staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. This is truly a magical spot in the center of Siem Reap, close to everything, yet secluded. Caroline suggested and then organized amazing experiences for us from visiting the big temples to getting to know village life in Cambodia and going for a jungle bike ride looking for hidden temples. We left with amazing memories!

The property is great and the host is wonderful. The design of the rooms and overall comfort and peacefulness was really nice. I would definitely stay again.

Offering an outdoor swimming pool and barbecue facilities, Koulen Hotel is located in the heart of Siem Reap, not far from Pub Street and King's Road Angkor. We've been traveling and stayed at various places for the last 2 months. Koulen hotel was our favorite in Cambodia (Lahana was the other one in Phu Quốc). Almost every(!) hotel doesn't deserve there self-acclaimed stars, but Koulen does. There is plenty of choice at breakfast. The swimming pool - especially for families- is outstanding: big, cozy, both good for swimming and playing with our kids. All the staff here is very kind, especially Bo, but this is no exception since all Khmer are sincere friendly and heartfelt people. The massage was incredible- the woman there has magical hands. We had a 2 bed-room appartment. It was always clean. After a few days they offered us another appartment with pool view. We enjoyed the stay so much and extended for another 9 days. We stayed in the Sabara Suite which was exceptional, we will visit again. Staff were wonderful- genuine good people.

The rooms are spacious and well kept. The staff are soo friendly and helpful. Wish we could have stayed longer. Great for families as the pool is an awesome feature to burn some excess energy if needed.
