We stayed two nights at Nilu’s and Malsha’s homestay, and it was absolutely amazing. After three weeks of traveling in Sri Lanka, Anuradhapura was our final stop before heading back to Colombo, and both my partner and I agreed that these last two days were the highlight of our trip. Malsha was a fantastic host. She gave us excellent recommendations, prepared fresh and delicious breakfasts, and even did our laundry. We truly felt at home during our stay. The entire family is incredibly sweet and welcoming. They also arranged a guided tour of the ancient city with their friend Kamal, which turned out to be an unforgettable experience. Having done several guided tours during our trip, we can confidently say that this one was the best by far. The value for money here is unbeatable and the location was also exactly what we had in mind. The homestay is situated in a quiet residential area, which we loved, and it’s only a quick 5-minute tuk-tuk ride to the city center. Thank you, Nilu and especially thank you Malsha, for an incredible stay. We highly recommend this homestay to anyone visiting Anuradhapura!

I have never stayed at a place that was so beautiful, so well staffed, so clean, and so perfectly matching the pictures I saw online. This room was exactly what I saw on booking , I don't have a single complaint about it. I extended my stay simply because this place was so perfect, and the staff was so nice and friendly. I mean to put this into perspective, they have a laundry machine on the property but it was broken and due for maintenance… So one of the staff members, took my clothes, and hand washed them for me?? another staff frequently offered me tea and coffee, at all hours of the day, and many nice and friendly chats about the city and about life and family. This place really touched me.

We are a family of five and had a perfect stay at Kulassa Homes! It's spacious, clean and comfortable. And the best part are the owners! They did everything they could to make our stay the best possible. Even though we arrived quite late they prepared us a very good dinner, arranged a safari for the next day and made sure we meet our driver in the early morning. We felt very welcomed. Big recommendation for this place!

The mother and daughter made us feel very welcome and are very kind! The breakfast was amazing and the place you stay in is brand new. Would highly recommend!

It is a single mother in charge of her bed and breakfast. Although it is basic It is super clean well maintained. She is adorable and would recommend to stay if you’re not looking for luxury. Provide good breakfast and also provide a tour to take you around for an acceptable price. The driver is her friend and he is super kind. You can spend four hours to visit the ancient city for a really acceptable price Would recommend strongly to do it.

This was the most amazing place to stay. The room was huge with plenty of seating, a desk, tea and coffee maker, small fridge/mini bar, air conditioner and a fabulous bathroom. The bed was comfortable. The home has solar panels and we were there the day Sri Lanka had a national blackout. The solar kept everything in the house running for hours, while the rest of the town was completely blacked out. You couldn't ask for anything more than that. The host cooked breakfast to order - you had a choice of Sri Lankan or western, both accompanied by fresh fruit, fruit juice, tea or coffee and as much toast as you could eat. The host is a Doctor and delights in entertaining you. The place could not be better. You have to stay there.
