Tea/coffee, nice toiletries, spotless bathroom, comfortable bed, TV/netflix. The staff were absolutely amazing - I made the booking very last minute and they really took care of me, which is important for a solo female traveller. Very warm welcome. The breakfast was very nice. Yes, the villa might be a few km outside town, but it’s a short tuk tuk ride. Amazing value for money. Highly recommended.

The room though basic was comfortable and clean. The hosts were fantastic very friendly and helpful. Wasnatha even phoned the train station to check on the arrival time of the train we were catching the next day. Breakfast was very tasty served to our room.

My recent stay at Mount View Bungalow in Hatton was an absolutely delightful experience that truly exceeded expectations. Opting for the three-bedroom apartment proved to be an excellent choice, offering a haven of comfort, cleanliness, and breathtaking scenery. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the sheer spaciousness of the apartment and the evident care taken in its maintenance. The living area was thoughtfully furnished, creating a welcoming atmosphere with comfortable sofas, a TV, and convenient WiFi access that made us feel right at home. Each of the three bedrooms was remarkably spacious, providing ample room to relax. The provision of fresh, clean towels, crisp bedsheets, and cozy blankets ensured a restful night's sleep. The bathrooms were equally impressive, being immaculate and very well-maintained, reflecting a high standard of hygiene. For those who prefer to self-cater, the fully equipped kitchen was a fantastic amenity. It included a gas stove, refrigerator, rice cooker, heater jug, and a complete set of necessary utensils, making meal preparation a breeze. However, the true gems of Mount View Bungalow were the balconies attached to every room and the main hall. Stepping onto them revealed truly breathtaking panoramic views of the majestic mountains and lush tea plantations surrounding Hatton. These serene vistas provided the perfect backdrop for relaxation and soaking in the natural beauty of Sri Lanka. Practicality was also well-considered, with ample and secure parking available within the gated premises, offering peace of mind for guests with vehicles. Furthermore, the location is incredibly convenient, with Hatton town just a pleasant 10-minute walk away, providing easy access to shops and local amenities. The hospitality we received from the host was exceptional.

It’s a two story villa with a well equipped kitchen, upstairs bedroom with views forever, and the bath was a very special treat. We felt so at home here, cooked ourselves a meal with vegetables from the stall next door and relaxed on the comfy couch. I wish we had stayed longer to take advantage of the walks that can be accessed directly from the property. The staff a delightful. Highly recommend.
