The beds were the most comfortable of our stay in Sri Lanka, even Netflix and Prime were provided for those who wanted to have a good choice of TV stations. There was plentiful hot water and air con and WiFi functioned perfectly, not always the case in other places where we stayed . In our opinion, the food and service could not be faulted, and Suresh, the owner, was an impeccable host, and provided a very personal service. The accommodation is out of town but easily accessible by a short Tuktuk ride. It suited our needs as we welcomed a chilled stay. Thank you Suresh and your team for everything. Gill and Nick

We loved our stay at Shevyhaws, and would love to stay there again. Chaminda and his family are wonderful guests, they could not do enough for you. Breakfast was delicious and had everything from fruit, to toast, jams and omlettes to curry and roti and pancakes. Accommodation is a bit away from town about 2.5 km, but that was not a problem as Chaminda gave us rides to and from town at no cost, whenever we texted him. He recommended a delicious vegetarian restaurant. He organised daytrips with his 4x4 Jeep at very good prices including the Horton plains, and some tea plantations and waterfalls. The Lovers leap with it's beautiful surroundings is 15 mins walking distance from Shevyhaws. Shower wàs hot and powerful and bedroom was spotlessly clean and included warm cosy blankets for the colder nights. Would strongly recommend to anyone considering.

The hotel has some maisonett villas, with living room, kitchen and toilet downstairs, and two double beds and a big bath upstairs. It looks like on Fotos. It was the best room we stayed in Sri Lanka and worth the money. Super comfortable beds, nice interior and great views. The property manager is super polite, prompt and helpful. You can easily get in touch via WhatsApp and he also arranged the tuktuk to go into a nice restaurant. Breakfast will be served in the room. I would always book it again and send my best wishes to the team of Luxe Wilderness

We had a truly wonderful stay at Croft Cottage! The property is a stunning British-style 3-storey villa, beautifully designed and immaculately maintained. The location is excellent, making it both peaceful and convenient. The cottage has lovely common areas that make it feel warm and inviting, perfect for relaxing together. All facilities are top-notch, thoughtfully provided, and everything worked seamlessly. A special mention and heartfelt thanks to Taranga, the housekeeper, who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable in every way. His attention to detail, hospitality, and genuine care made the experience exceptional — he truly elevated our time here. Overall, Croft Cottage is the perfect blend of charm, comfort, and luxury. Highly recommended, and we would absolutely love to return!
