Very friendly host, that provides good tips for restaurants and activities. The rooms are spacious and facilities very modern. I really liked the area, as it is not as busy as Kandy city center.

We stayed two nights at Nilu’s and Malsha’s homestay, and it was absolutely amazing. After three weeks of traveling in Sri Lanka, Anuradhapura was our final stop before heading back to Colombo, and both my partner and I agreed that these last two days were the highlight of our trip. Malsha was a fantastic host. She gave us excellent recommendations, prepared fresh and delicious breakfasts, and even did our laundry. We truly felt at home during our stay. The entire family is incredibly sweet and welcoming. They also arranged a guided tour of the ancient city with their friend Kamal, which turned out to be an unforgettable experience. Having done several guided tours during our trip, we can confidently say that this one was the best by far. The value for money here is unbeatable and the location was also exactly what we had in mind. The homestay is situated in a quiet residential area, which we loved, and it’s only a quick 5-minute tuk-tuk ride to the city center.
