But what really stood out was the exceptional staff. They made us feel welcome in that serene and genuine Sri Lanka way. Charuka patiently help get us settled in with all we needed when we were all flustered at reception and demanding of pillows and all kinds of things. Mahesh told us about Sri Lankan Buddhist wisdom as he walked us to the laundry and Spa. Sathsara regaled us with photos of him of the elephant at the Buddhist procession. he also gave us great recommendations for sites to see with enthusiasm.

From our room, we had a great view of the accommodation's garden, which was very beautiful. The room itself is also decorated in beautiful colors that match the garden. In addition to the material things, the hosts Jeewani and Ayeshika were also great. We had great conversations and thanks to their warm nature, we were able to relax well.

Rwan is also a great tuktuk driver we reccomend to your the city with him.

What really made this stay unforgettable were the authentic experiences arranged by the hosts. Nilukshan helped us explore some of Sri Lanka’s most iconic sites with thoughtfully organized tours, the Wilpattu safari was stunning, and our visits to Anuradhapura and Mihintale gave us a deep appreciation for the country’s culture and history. Everything was well-timed, smooth, and stress-free. We also had the chance to join a Sri Lankan cooking class with Malsha, which ended up being one of our favorite memories. The class was fun, hands-on, and filled with flavor, we left not just with full stomachs, but with recipes and techniques we can take home with us. If you’re looking for more than just a place to sleep, if you want comfort, authenticity, and connection this is the place. Can’t recommend it highly enough!
