The host and his family are really nice, they offered to take us back and forth the airport, even if our flight was really early in the morning. Nice room.

There’s also a restaurant on-site that we really enjoyed. We only stayed for one night because of its proximity to the airport, and unfortunately the monsoon season had already started, so we couldn’t make use of the pool or do much else. The host was excellent – communication was smooth, and he kindly arranged both pick-up and drop-off (very early in the morning) at the airport for a fair price. Highly recommended!

At the bed and breakfast, all units are equipped with bed linen and towels. New hotel super clean comfy bed Wi-Fi and aircon were good and staff wear super friendly. The location was on a quiet side street and close to the airport so very convenient for flights in and out.

The property is set 37 km from R Premadasa Stadium, 38 km from Khan Clock Tower and 43 km from Bambalapitiya Railway Station. The accommodation offers a shared kitchen, room service and luggage storage for guests. This hotel exceeded our expecations by a very long mile! The room was very cosy, clean and the Villa itself is situated on a more quiet street, but still close to one of the restaurant streets. The included breakfast is served in another hotel of the same owner and had a variety of local and western options. We were especially impressed by the friendliness and professionalism of the young receptionist at the Villa :)

Some units in the apartment complex have private entrance and are fitted with desk and wardrobe. Some of the units have a satellite flat-screen TV, a fully equipped kitchenette with a fridge, and a private bathroom with a walk-in shower and a hair dryer. Dayan was super nice. We requested pick up service from the airport at 3-4 in the morning. Dayan contacted us in advance to inform us where he will wait for us. After some hours of sleep he also dropped us off at the tuktuk rental , which is only 200m away. The hotel is clean, has a very good bed and is close to the airport.

Simply furnished, all rooms are cooled with a fan and are equipped with tea/coffee making facilities. En suite bathrooms come with a shower. Air conditioning facility can be provided on request at a surcharge.

The villa's kitchen is accessible by all guests, while free wired internet is available at the reception. On-site parking is free. Villa Shade is a hidden gem! The property was beautiful with lovely tropical gardens and comfortable rooms (with a fabulous outdoor bathroom). Shiraj was a lovely host who cares deeply about the property and his guests. They have created a beautiful and welcoming atmosphere and even grow an all organic garden on the property! All of the staff was helpful and hospitable during our stay and accommodated a very early morning checkout time- we wished we had more nights to spend at this hotel.
