The room was pretty spacious, air conditioner works perfect , bathroom is huge. The whole property including the room is so clean. While I am out of Sigiriya now, I am already missing their breakfast. They always provide different breakfast daily, and it's authentic srilankan dish cooked by the host wife- she is definitely the best chef. The location is mind blowing, even the wifi works great. The accommodation features a 24-hour front desk, free shuttle service and luggage storage for guests. We had a wonderful time at the cabin. The view of the Lion Rock is fantastic! The cabin was perfect for us:) Peter called me when we arrived and explained all ins and outs of the area and gave us some great advice. He was happy to answer any of our questions any time of the day. The cabin with its garden are very private and amazing for some wildlife spotting. Our kids loved it. There is also a wood-fired pizza oven in the garden. Sumith put the fire on for us and Raja swiftly organised and delivered yeast and flour from the local bakery for our pizza baking experience:) We all had a lot of fun kneading the dough and baking pizza in a real outdoor pizza oven! It was delicious:). We used bicycles provided free of charge, washing machine and there is a drinking water dispenser in the cabin, so no need to buy bottled water:) We loved seeing wild chickens coming to the garden and peacocks were always a good entertainment for the kids;) Sumith brought us, freshly picked from the garden, jackfruit to try;)
