The owner was super cool about that and even helped me to sort out my situation and invited me for a chat and some tea. He is the sweetest person and has a lot of advice to offer. The hostel is run by a very welcoming family who are always there for you if you have any questions. The location is about 8 minutes walk from train station and 5 minutes walk to city centre. The breakfast comes at an extra charge and is very tasty, especially the fresh made juice. A great spot to start your hike to the Nine Arches Bridge, Little Adam’s Peak and Ella Rock.

The units come with a fridge, minibar, a kettle, a bidet, a hair dryer and a desk. At the bed and breakfast, the units come with a seating area. We had an incredible stay at Aloft View. The staff are really friendly and Lakmali is just wonderful. She gave us great tips on where to go and what to do. Such great value for money.

There is a seating area, a dining area and a kitchen complete with a minibar and kitchenware. For added privacy, the accommodation has a private entrance and soundproofing. The host is amazing, so kind, attentive, arranged tuktuks for us at about half the normal rate and helped us with anything and everything we needed. Very recommended.

Loved the view and the hospitality of the hosts. Their daughter was super responsive in texts, responding to all our queries and even helped us to plan the travel to our next destination better. They even helped us with scooter rental, Tuktuks for all our travels, and fed us with a huge breakfast. Loved the hospitality of the hosts a lot.

Room was very clean and spacious, they had mosquito nets and hot water. They offered us tea and cookies right after arriving what was very nice gesture. Very quiet and nice place to relax. Breakfast was enormous and so tasty. Their avocados were the best.

When they knew that, they made us a room setup with bed decoration which was so kind of them. The room was also very cozy with a spectacular view over the Ella mountains. All staff were very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast (+ view) was the best we had in Srilanka! Totally recommend!
