The hosts were super friendly and welcoming and spoke very good English. The garden is beautiful and immaculately maintained, it really was a green paradise. The food was delicious, we tasted lots of different traditional Sri Lankan dishes with generous portions provided. The aubergine curry was a particular highlight. Highly recommend booking your Safari through the hosts, we did and it was a treat. Our guide was fantastic and he joyfully shared his knowledge and passion for animals with us. We saw lots of Elephants including babies and many other animals and birds, which we think was only possible due to his local knowledge. Don’t miss your chance to stay here if you’re in the area.

They organized a great safari trip in Udawalawe National Park where we saw many elephants, hunting crocodiles and large groups of buffalo. Also, they prepared a wonderful dinner and a delicious breakfast.

It’s more than a stay, it’s an experience. The location is simply breathtaking, tucked deep in the rainforest, high up on a hill, and only accessible via an an off-road drive in a 4x4 vehicle provided by the villa. We took a guided tour to the Sinharaja rainforest from the property, but just staying in the villa felt just as special. The food was exceptional, prepared on-site by local staff using fresh, organic local ingredients. Without a doubt, these were the best meals we had during our three weeks in Sri Lanka. Everything was fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented in the most stunning setting. I highly recommend not only breakfasts, but also lunches and dinners in the villa, they were amazing. Our 6 and 9 years old enjoyed it as much as my wife and I did. The swimming pool is another highlight. Clear, well maintained, and offering a spectacular view of the surrounding mountains. It was the perfect way to unwind and cool off after a rainforest hike. We arrived not knowing exactly what to expect, but the villa far exceeded our expectations. If we had more time before our flight back home, we would definitely extend our stay. An unforgettable experience.

The homestay features some units that have a balcony, and every unit has a kettle. At the homestay, every unit is fitted with bed linen and towels. Brilliant service and rooms. Rooms were large with Air con and WiFi. Very clean also. Breakfast and check out was avalible later after our Safari. Breakfast was a Sri lankan tradition of String hoppers and bread. Hotel owner also very helpful with public transport options and map looking! Would 100% recommend the accomodation. I would ask for instructions on how to find the location as Google does not recommend the address. There is however a sign off the main street for the accomodation.
